How sustainable is your portfolio?
New EU regulations require all financial institutions to report on portfolio sustainability. In this project we wanted to go beyond regulations and give the customer a better way to understand how sustainable their portfolio is and how they can take action. We explored the concept with wireframes and prototypes, and validated the concept with two rounds of user tests to get quick feedback on what could be improved. In parallel we started working on the final design for web and app. This feature is now available for all Formue customers.

Better meetings & less admin
As part of the service, customers does an annual review of their portfolio with their advisor. In this session, the advisor goes through the year from a financial standpoint but also brings in a more holistic view on life situation and goals. In the past, the advisors has spent hours preparing a presentation manually. Bringing together data and visuals from different systems and putting it together in a Powerpoint presentation. With the Annual Review Tool we solved this problem by automatically generating a personalised presentation bringing in all financial and CRM data in a unique format. With a simple click, the advisor can start a personalised presentation, and instead focus on the meeting.

This has been done with PDF reports that are available in the app or web, but few customers look at the documents. With this project, the goal was to replace the PDF’s and give the customer more engaging ways to follow their portfolio. The storytelling mode was one of the concepts that came out of the project. We started the creative process with a workshop inspired by the design sprint methodology including key stakeholders and the design team. After that exploring multiple concept tracks with wireframes and prototypes. In parallel we worked with UI design and brought in feedback from users.
